Durability

The Fatboy is an all-chrome stainless steel tripod designed for durability and strength for years to come. It belongs to a group of C-Stand tripods that have been standard equipment on film, television and photography sets for decades. 

Stability

Fatboy's design features a low center of gravity, which makes it very stable even when mounted on a lamp with a deep hexagonal softbox. The shape of the legs is adapted for hanging on them additional ballast, which increases the stability of the entire construction. The legs are finished with feet to reduce slipping on smooth surfaces. 

Load capacity

Maximum unfolded Fatboy central column is able to hold loads up to 20 kg. Such a large load capacity allows you to work comfortably even with very large softboxes with a diameter of 150 cm or large umbrellas.

Mountain leg

The position of one of the tripod's legs is adjustable, which makes it possible to set it up in places where ordinary tripods would not be able to stand safely. The "mountain leg" mechanism makes the Fatboy easy to set up on stairs or sloping ground.

Pipe

Fatboy comes pre-equipped with an arm that allows you to be creative with your lights because it makes it easy to place them off-axis of the tripod, e.g. above your camera or set. The ends of the pipe - as the arm of this tripod is jargonally referred to - are grooved and undercut in such a way as to reduce the possibility of the lamp rotating and dropping. The arm can also be used as a small boom type jib.

Head

Fatboy is equipped with a set of two, high quality heads that are used to attach the pipe to the center column and various accessories such as blenders, flags, valves, etc. The Fatboy heads are characterized by high quality workmanship and ergonomically shaped clamping knobs.
