The Background Canopy is a cone with an elliptically cut opening, and this allows you to direct light onto flat surfaces to illuminate them evenly over short distances. In addition, the light that passes through it is directed and does not spill over the entire set, giving you more control over how the captured image will look. 

Possibilities

The canopy can be rotated 360°, allowing you to direct the light where you need it. The integrated filter mount allows you to change the color of the light or install your own custom-made gobo masks. Included with the canopy is a clear filter made of acrylic, with which the light can be diffused.
